The Honda CR-X del Sol had a single generation, built from 1992 until 1998 on the front engine layout of the fifth generation Civic as the successor to the Honda CR-X. In Japan it was available only at Honda Verno dealerships, and in North America it was marketed as the Civic del Sol upon its release for the 1993 model year, and from 1995 simply as the Honda del Sol. Most were fitted with a 24 pound aluminium roof that could be removed manually and stowed in the trunk, and an electric TransTop roof was an option in Japan and Europe. Each model year has its own page.
