2012 Honda CR-V

Automobiles

The 2012 Honda CR-V opened the fourth generation and reached U.S. showrooms on December 15, 2011, with a 185 hp 2.4 liter i-VTEC engine and an all new intelligently controlled Real Time all wheel drive, and every North American CR-V had a 5 speed automatic. It was launched in China in February 2012, in the Philippines in early 2012 and in Indonesia and Thailand in September 2012. Honda hired Matthew Broderick for its Super Bowl XLVI commercial, an homage to Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
