Honda released the eighth-generation Accord for North America in 2007 and once more pushed it upmarket and made it bigger, to the point that the sedan sat just over the EPA's lower boundary for a full size car, while the coupe stayed in the mid size class. As before there were two versions: the North American Accord, sold as the Inspire in Japan, and a smaller updated Accord for Japan and Europe that went on sale in mid 2008, sold as the Acura TSX in North America and as the Honda Spirior in China. The Accord Crosstour joined the North American range for the 2010 model year. Each model year of this generation has its own page.
