Nissan Pulsar

Automobiles

The Nissan Pulsar is a line of automobiles produced by the Japanese automaker Nissan from 1978 until 2000, when it was replaced by the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy in the Japanese market. The original Pulsar was a hatchback sold exclusively at the Nissan Cherry Store dealership network in Japan as a larger five-door alternative to the Nissan Cherry, front-wheel drive from the start with four-wheel drive offered as an option. The N10 series ceased production in mid-1982 and was replaced by the N12, which gained a 1.7 litre CD17 diesel and a turbocharged petrol model in May 1983. Between 2000 and 2005 the Pulsar name was used in Australia and New Zealand on rebadged Sylphy models, and it returned in 2013 and in 2014 on a European replacement for the Tiida.
