The Dodge Omni 024 was a version of the Dodge Omni made from 1979 to 1982, a lower and sportier three-door hatchback coupe version of the Chrysler and Simca Horizon built on the floor pan and chassis of the five-door hatchback, a formula like that of the Volkswagen Scirocco. It was designed in-house at the prompting of Lee Iacocca. It used the same chassis and engine choices as the Omni but had its own bodywork and front end styling. The base engine was a 1.7 litre Volkswagen four-cylinder making 70 horsepower, with a 2.2 litre Chrysler four of 84 horsepower optional from 1981, and the car was also built as the Plymouth Horizon TC3.
