Chevrolet Aveo

Automobiles

The Chevrolet Aveo is a five-seat, front-wheel-drive subcompact car in the B segment, marketed by General Motors since 2002 over two generations. It was originally developed by the South Korean manufacturer Daewoo Motors and sold as the Daewoo Kalos, and after General Motors took over Daewoo to form GM Daewoo Auto and Technology it was marketed in 120 countries under seven brands, prominently as the Chevrolet Aveo. The Kalos was sold as a four-door sedan and five-door hatchback from the start of production in 2002, with a three-door hatchback in some European markets from 2005. The second generation, introduced in 2011, was also sold as the Chevrolet Sonic in many markets.
