The Austin Maestro is the small family car, a five door hatchback and a two door van, that British Leyland introduced under the Austin marque, with the Rover Group selling it simply as the Maestro from 1988. It was produced in Oxford from November 1982 to December 1994, with an MG branded performance version sold from 1983 to 1991. Production began in November 1982 and it was officially launched on 1 March 1983, and was Britain's sixth best selling car in 1983 and 1984. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1982 to 1994).
