The base model of the second generation Today was renamed Ji in March 1994, and three point rear seat belts became standard. Honda cut the first generation lineup further in September 1994, to just four models: the basic Pro F, the Humming X, the Pro QP with four wheel drive and the Humming QX. Until 1996, Today buyers could specify traditional Japanese fender mounted mirrors on the base Mi and Ji models.
