The Versailles had a single generation, a Santana with Ford's corporate front end, squarer taillights and more upright rear pillars, sold as a two door or four door sedan and as the Royale wagon, with 1.8 or 2.0 litre Volkswagen engines running on petrol or alcohol. It was facelifted in 1995 after Autolatina ended. Its model years run from 1991 to 1996. The Versailles was a Ford badged Volkswagen Santana sold in Brazil and Argentina during the Autolatina joint venture.
