The Autolatina joint venture of Ford and Volkswagen ended in 1995, and even so Ford presented a facelifted Versailles and Royale, together with a five door station wagon. It was still a Volkswagen Santana derived sedan sold in Brazil and Argentina. A station wagon version was sold as the Ford Royale, and in Argentina the car was called the Galaxy. The Versailles was a Ford badged Volkswagen Santana sold in Brazil and Argentina during the Autolatina joint venture.
