The Tourneo version of the Transit Custom was sold in Vietnam from September 2019 until June 2021, assembled at the Ford Vietnam facility in Trend and Titanium trims with a 2.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine. In Europe the first generation continued with EcoBlue diesel engines and mild hybrids. Passenger versions were sold as the Tourneo Custom, and the van was developed by Ford of Europe. The Transit Custom was Ford's mid size van, in the Transit range between the Transit Connect and the larger Transit.
