The Transit Custom was not sold in China until 2016, when it entered that market. It was a mid size van with front wheel drive, produced by Ford Europe, with a 2.2 litre diesel engine that was offered in three power levels until it was replaced in 2017. The Transit Custom was Ford's mid size van, in the Transit range between the Transit Connect and the larger Transit. Passenger versions were sold as the Tourneo Custom, and the van was developed by Ford of Europe.
