1998 Ford Taurus

Automobiles

For 1998 the exterior of the Taurus got a slight redesign to make the shape more mainstream and appeal to a wider customer base, with a redesigned front bumper that had a full length opening and the Ford logo moved down onto a chrome bar in the grille. The models were completely changed: the G and GL were dropped, the LX became the entry level model, and the SE from 1995 was revived as the top tier.
