The sixth generation Taurus was a full size sedan with a complete redesign of body and interior in Ford's Kinetic Design style, on the same underpinnings as before, and a mild facelift for 2013. It was the first Taurus built without a Mercury Sable twin, and it took over the role of the Grand Marquis. The SHO version had a 365 horsepower EcoBoost V6. Ford ended it after the 2019 model year as it moved to trucks and utilities, and the last US built Taurus came off the line on 1 March 2019. Each model year has its own page.
