1988 Ford Taurus

Automobiles

For 1988 the MT-5 wagon was dropped because of poor sales, and the MT-5 itself was dropped altogether after the model year. The only major exterior change of the first generation came in 1988, and the car was exported to Japan in limited numbers that year, sold through the Autorama dealerships, a joint venture with Mazda, where the LX and the SHO were available as sedans and wagons with left hand drive.
