The fifth generation Ranger went on sale in North America as a 2024 model, with a Raptor version for the first time, powered by the 3.0 liter EcoBoost twin turbo V6 from the Explorer ST and Bronco Raptor. The 2.3 liter EcoBoost carried over as the base engine, with a 2.7 liter twin turbo V6 as an option on XLT and Lariat, producing 315 horsepower, all mated to a ten speed automatic. The truck was engineered for the American market.
