Developed largely by a team of Ford in China, the Evos was described as a mix between a crossover and a fastback or station wagon because of its low slung proportions. In 2022 it was a crossover coupe built by Changan Ford with a 2.0 litre turbocharged engine. The Mondeo Sport is a low slung crossover coupe that Ford and Changan build in China, first shown as the Evos. It was not sold in North America despite guesses that it would replace the Fusion and Mondeo.
