The five slot wheels were used on the Model AA for 1930 and part of 1931, and in October 1931 a Model AA was the first vehicle produced at Ford of Britain's own new Dagenham plant in England. The truck had a four speed gearbox, a 201 cubic inch engine and mechanical brakes. Ford built it from 1927, and the Soviet GAZ built a very large number of copies. The Model AA was Ford's truck companion to the Model A car, with a heavier chassis and a four speed gearbox for loaded work.
