The 1991 model year was shortened and few changes were made to the LTD Crown Victoria, with amber parking light lenses replaced by clear ones and optional two tone paint discontinued. The 150 horsepower 5.0 litre V8 was standard, and the 5.8 litre V8 was offered for fleet and Canadian sales. It was the Ford counterpart of the Mercury Grand Marquis and shared a body style with it. The LTD Crown Victoria was the full size Ford of the 1980s, built on the rear wheel drive Panther platform.
