1986 Ford LTD Crown Victoria

For 1986 the 5.0 litre V8 was revised with a multiport sequential fire fuel injection system, shown by a large cast aluminum air intake, raising power to 150 horsepower. The LX option package was reintroduced as the LTD Crown Victoria LX, a direct counterpart of the Grand Marquis. The LTD Crown Victoria was the full size Ford of the 1980s, built on the rear wheel drive Panther platform. It was the Ford counterpart of the Mercury Grand Marquis and shared a body style with it.
