In 2025 the facelifted third generation Kuga remained on sale in Europe, a compact crossover SUV that Ford has built since 2008, aimed mostly at European buyers. It was offered with front or four wheel drive, and its non plug in version continued to rank in the thirty most popular vehicles in Europe, while its stablemate the Escape was sold in China and North America with its own styling. It was longer and wider than before and its platform came from the latest Focus.
