The facelifted Kuga was introduced in January 2024, a year after its North American counterpart, the Escape, received the design refresh. The plug in hybrid Kuga was Europe's second best selling plug in hybrid in 2024, after leading the segment in 2021, 2022 and 2023. The facelift kept the third generation platform and the range of petrol, hybrid and plug in hybrid powertrains. It remained a C segment crossover built mainly for the European market.
