Ford GT (second generation)

Automobiles

The second generation was shown in 2015 with production in Markham, Ontario from December 2016, powered by a 3.5 litre twin turbo EcoBoost V6 of 647 horsepower, later 660, in a carbon fibre body. It marked fifty years since the GT40 won Le Mans in 1966, and a run of Heritage editions was sold. Its model years run from 2017 to 2022. The Ford GT was a mid engine two seat sports car, styled in the spirit of the GT40 racing car of the 1960s.
