The Kinetic Design facelift of the European Focus was in production in 2008. In North America the restyled 2008 to 2011 generation, revealed at the 2007 Detroit show, was offered as a two door coupe and a four door sedan only, with the hatchbacks and wagon dropped. Its interior was redesigned with new seats, a dashboard with ambient lighting and Ford's voice controlled Sync audio and Bluetooth system.
