A crossover styled version of the Figo was introduced in 2018 as the Ford Freestyle, slotted between the Figo hatchback and the EcoSport, with a 1.2 litre petrol or 1.5 litre diesel engine and a five speed manual gearbox, in Titanium and Titanium Plus trims. The Figo was a small Ford hatchback made in India for emerging markets and based on the fifth generation Fiesta. Ford India built it at its plants near Chennai and in Gujarat before the company closed them in 2021.
