The Figo Aspire sedan for India with no ABS got three stars for adults and two for toddlers from Global NCAP in 2017. All Figo variants had dual front airbags except the base model, which had only a driver airbag, and the top end one carried six airbags in all. Ford India built it at its plants near Chennai and in Gujarat before the company closed them in 2021. The Figo was a small Ford hatchback made in India for emerging markets and based on the fifth generation Fiesta.
