The Mk3 Fiesta, code named BE-13, was the biggest change since the original car and was the first to offer a five door hatchback alongside the three door and the panel van. It sat on a new platform with a semi independent torsion beam rear suspension in place of the old rear beam axle and sold a million cars in its first two years. A box van called the Courier followed in 1991, and the car sold on as the Fiesta Classic after the Mk4 arrived. Each model year has its own page.
