Ford announced the facelifted Fiesta and Fiesta ST in September 2021 and published images of them, with release due at the start of 2022. The new models were to have a new front bumper, other visual changes and a Wrong Way Alert safety feature, and higher specification versions were to add increased torque, matrix LED headlights and upgraded interior equipment. The facelifted cars were due to be released at the beginning of 2022.
