1978 Ford Fiesta

Automobiles

The GL trim joined the European Fiesta range from 1978, above the L, and the car was one of the key cars on offer when the Motability scheme for disabled motorists run by the British government began that year. The United States received the Mark I Fiesta as well, for model years 1978 to 1980, built in Germany to slightly different specifications with a 1.6 liter engine, a catalytic converter, and Base, Decor, Sport and Ghia trim levels.
