The Mk5 Fiesta was unveiled on 1 April 2002 and built in Europe from April 2002 until 2008, with Mexico and Brazil carrying on longer. It became the best selling Fiesta generation and was the first one sold across Asia and Australasia, replacing the Kia based Festiva there. It was also the first Fiesta with anti-lock brakes and passenger airbags as standard. A saloon was added in Brazil and Argentina in late 2004. Each model year has its own page.
