1955 Ford F-Series

For 1955 a double bar grille returned, distinguished by a center notch for the V8 emblem, and revised hood emblems. Tubeless tires were introduced as an option, and the Custom Cab was introduced, grouping several upgraded interior options in a single option package. The Y-block V8 was initially increased to 256 cubic inches for 1955. The adjustable seat, wide enough for three people, and power brakes, which were among the firsts for this generation, continued.
