1972 Ford F-Series

Automobiles

The 1972 model year was the final year of production of the fifth generation in North America, with minor detail changes, and power brakes became a new option on the upper level trims. In Brazil the fifth generation F-Series was introduced in 1972 and remained in production until 1992, in models such as the F-100 with the Y-block 272 V8 and later a Lima 2.3 liter four. The sixth generation was launched in December 1972.
