For 1971 the F-Series got new grille inserts, a new steering wheel design and new colors, and AM/FM radios were added as an option. The Ranger trim was the top of the range, with the Ranger XLT above it, and the Camper Special, Explorer Special and Contractor's Special packages continued to be offered. In Argentina the fifth generation F-Series was in production in F-100, F-350, F-600 and F-700 models, close to the American range.
