For 2007 Ford introduced the FX2 Sport package, a four wheel drive appearance package truck to complement the existing FX4, and a SuperCrew was offered in the Harley-Davidson trim as well. Ford stated that a properly equipped 2007 F-150 regular cab or SuperCab with an 8 foot box on two wheel drive could tow up to 11,000 pounds and carry a maximum payload of 1,800 to 3,050 pounds. The Saleen forced induction package became an OEM option in the second half.
