For the 2021 model year the Edge gained a standard 12 inch tablet style touchscreen with Ford Sync 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio. A new ST-Line trim, based on the mid level SEL, added ST inspired exterior and interior styling and an ActiveX leatherette interior. In Europe the last stock of the Edge was sold in early 2021, as low sales had led Ford to limit the model to a few countries in 2019. China received the facelifted Edge Plus.
