For 2015 the Edge was redesigned with a new Taurus and Explorer like grille, new headlights, LED combination taillights, increased interior room and a rear view camera. This generation came with a standard EcoBoost engine, the all new 2.0 liter, which shared only its displacement and bore spacing with the earlier one, with a twin scroll turbocharger to boost low end torque. For the first time Ford marketed the Edge in Europe, as part of its One Ford strategy, above the Kuga.
