Ford Country Squire (third generation)

Automobiles

For the 1955 model year the third generation of the Country Squire was introduced, functionally an update of the second generation, with a body that underwent several styling revisions and multiple functional upgrades. The Crestline was discontinued, and the Country Squire became the counterpart of the all new top level Fairlane sedan line. Ford consolidated its three station wagons into a distinct model line separate from its sedans, with the Country Squire the flagship. Its model years run from 1955 to 1956.
