It is a battery electric crossover from Ford's European operations, produced in Cologne on a Volkswagen platform. The Capri EV is a coupe shaped electric small SUV that Ford builds in Cologne on a Volkswagen platform for European buyers. It borrows panels from the Explorer EV and revives a name used on a Ford coupe from 1969.
