The Capri EV of 2025 had an interior with a minimalistic approach, a 15 inch Sync Move touchscreen and a Bang and Olufsen sound bar, and used a leather free material that Ford said was part of its sustainability goals. It is built in Cologne and sold mainly in Europe. It borrows panels from the Explorer EV and revives a name used on a Ford coupe from 1969. The Capri EV is a coupe shaped electric small SUV that Ford builds in Cologne on a Volkswagen platform for European buyers.
