The C-Max was facelifted in 2015, when the 1.6 litre EcoBoost was replaced by the three cylinder 1.0 litre EcoBoost and the 1.6 litre diesel by a 1.5 litre TDCi single overhead cam unit. The 1.5 litre EcoBoost petrol engine took the place of the 1.6 in April 2015. A longer seven seat version called the Grand C-Max sat above it in the range. The C-Max was a five door compact people carrier that Ford built on the same platform as the Focus.
