The 2024 Bronco Sport was a compact crossover on the unibody C2 platform that it shares with the Escape and the Maverick pickup. It has four wheel independent suspension, and the Badlands trim alone has a twin clutch rear differential that acts as a rear locker and gives torque vectoring. The Bronco Sport is a compact crossover that wears the Bronco name and off road styling in a smaller body. Ford launched it beside the sixth generation Bronco, a larger body on frame SUV.
