The Heritage Edition trim began with the 2023 model year, based on the Big Bend, in honour of the original 1966 Bronco, together with a Heritage Limited Edition on the Badlands trim that was limited to 1,966 units. Ford also offered Bike, Camp, Snow and Water accessory bundles on all trims. Ford launched it beside the sixth generation Bronco, a larger body on frame SUV. The Bronco Sport is a compact crossover that wears the Bronco name and off road styling in a smaller body.
