The Bronco Sport arrived for the 2021 model year in five trims, with a First Edition limited to 2,000 units that was based on the off road Badlands trim. All trims had G.O.A.T. Modes, a flip up rear glass and rear flood lights in the tailgate, and the SYNC 3 infotainment system with an eight inch screen. Ford launched it beside the sixth generation Bronco, a larger body on frame SUV. The Bronco Sport is a compact crossover that wears the Bronco name and off road styling in a smaller body.
