Production of the Anglia resumed in mid 1945 after the suspension of early 1942. The Anglia was a simple vehicle aimed at the affordable end of the market, with a 933 cc engine and, in some export markets, the 1172 cc straight four engine from the Ford Ten. The Australian built E04A tourer and roadster, built from 1940 to 1945, ended that year and the Australian Anglia A54A followed. It was related to the longer four door Ford Prefect.
