The 1941 Anglia was the E04A, with a two door body similar to the longer four door E93A Ford Prefect. A bulge at the back enabled the spare wheel to be removed from its vertical outside stowage and stowed flat on the boot floor, which increased luggage space, though rear seat leg room was reduced from 43 and three quarter inches in the Ford 7Y to 38 and a half inches in the Anglia. It was related to the longer four door Ford Prefect.
