The Mahindra XEV 9e is a battery electric mid-size crossover SUV made by Mahindra and Mahindra of India, unveiled and launched in 2024 as one of the first models in the company's new electric SUV range. It is built on the INGLO skateboard platform and has coupe-inspired styling, a panoramic glass roof and 19-inch alloy wheels. Two lithium iron phosphate battery packs of 59 and 79 kilowatt-hours with BYD Blade cells feed a permanent magnet synchronous motor driving the rear wheels, and DC fast charging is supported at up to 180 kilowatts. It is 4,789 millimetres long with a 663 litre boot, and in India it was rated five stars by Bharat NCAP in 2025. Mahindra says more than 10,000 XEV 9e and sibling BE 6 cars were sold within 70 days of launch, and it competes with electric SUVs such as the Tata Harrier EV.
