Production versions of the 2009 model year Journey went on sale in early 2008 in North America, and mid 2008 elsewhere. From 2009 to 2010 the trim levels in North America were the SE, powered by a 2.4 liter four, and the SXT and R/T, both powered by a 3.5 liter V6, with all wheel drive available on the SXT and R/T. The Journey was available in five and seven passenger configurations and was built in Mexico at Toluca Assembly.
