From the 2012 model year the 3.6 liter V6 could be paired with an eight speed automatic, which improved highway fuel economy, and a new 6.4 liter V8 rated at 470 horsepower was offered. The Super Bee returned for 2012 with the 392 Hemi in Stinger Yellow and Pitch Black. The Charger Pursuit also replaced the Ford Crown Victoria as the top police sedan in North America. The Pursuit was the top police sedan in North America from this year.
