In 2011 the 3.3, 3.8 and 4.0 liter engines were all dropped, replaced with the Pentastar 3.6 liter V6, which came with the 62TE six speed transmission. The 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan was refreshed, and the Grand Caravan and the Chrysler Town and Country were the two main versions of the RT minivans, while the Routan continued as VW's version of the van. Chrysler's new Pentastar V6 was shared with many of its other 2011 models.
