Dodge La Femme

Automobiles

The Dodge La Femme was a full-size car that Dodge produced in 1955 and 1956, a special option package designed for women and offered on the Custom Royal Lancer. The idea grew from two Chrysler show cars of the 1954 season, and favorable reactions led Chrysler to pursue the La Comtesse concept. Dodge took the project over in 1955 and renamed it La Femme. It began as a Custom Royal Lancer spring special two-door hardtop painted Sapphire White and Heather Rose, with gold La Femme scripts replacing the standard Custom Royal Lancer scripts on the front fenders.
